Can the broadcasters 'give the news as it happens’

Do Broadcaster owe it to their profession to ‘give the news as it happens’ without being concerned about the consequences to the community?

The broadcasters are supposed to be professional in their duty. Sometimes it happen that they perform their duties well but many a times they need to function on the under pressure of some or the other things.
Very few broadcasters give the news as they are. Most of them are not faithful to their profession because they are affected by money, or politics and they have to compromise. Sometimes till the extent of being blackmail by the authority so they can not provide the public the news as it happens.

The broadcasters cannot work without being concerned about the consequences to community. They must think about the result of their doing.
